Trevor "Trouble" Andrew - professional snowboarder from Nova Scotia, a.k.a. Trouble the NY underground kingpin. Sponsored by such companies as Burton, Analog Clothing, Gravis Footwear, and Oakley Optics...homeboy carries weight in the snowboarding circuit and has been building an increasingly similar rep in NY's indie music scene. Check out his single "Bang Bang" feat. Santogold in the listening pleasure section at the bottom of this page. Collabing with NY production team Shitake Monkey, the partnership produced a unique sound of synth/programmed beats, and danceable skate/punk rock a.k.a. crunk rock. Don't sleep.

MUSIC - VIDEO

FASHION

"NYC" by Trainerspotter. GODDAMN! My father would yell at me for using the lords name in vain like this, but come on now...GODDAMN!. Super pimped out. Butter baby. -Mr.-

"The Trackers Jacket" by Freshjive. OG's in the game, and with pieces like this...who could argue their reign over the streetwear market. Super fly, I'm talkin quality people - DO NOT SLEEP. -Mr.-

FASHION

"The Jonah Levin Tee" by Seventh Letter. Dope script, simple layout. Plain and simple...I like. -Mr.-

FASHION

"Clae Blakey" (pavement) by Clae. I'm a big fan of Clae shoes 'cause their kicks are classy enough for the club and fly enough for the street...where you at? Either/or their ish is top notch. Quality - hands down. -Mr.-

CINEMATIC DOPE

"Glengarry Glen Ross" (1992). This film examines the cutthroat business of real estate and the plight of the working man as a group of agents are threatened with losing their jobs and livelihoods. In this clip a group of down-on-their luck sales reps who's careers are on the line, get a quick lesson in what it takes to be a "closer" from Alec Baldwin (I believe his best performance to date). The cast listing is nuts: Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alec Baldwin, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris, and Kevin Spacey to name a few. Some of the best dialogue ever written, illustrating the rat race to a tee. Nigel - you the man, thanks for the 411. Highly recommended.

Vintage Cazal Style# 163 – Once again, not much to be said because they're such obvious classics…the only thing that sucks about them is that the price of DS cazals have tripled since Kanye started rocking them. But still, good enough for Run DMC, good enough for me! -Ms.-

FASHION

Han Cholo Big Spike Earrings – What can I say? They go perfect with the BJ watch without being a spiky overload. Definately more subtle than what I’d normally rock, but they still hold down that shine which must NEVER go overlooked. You’ll be seeing a lot more of Han Cholo from me, trust. -Ms.-

FASHION

Betsey Johnson Bangle Watch – One time I saw Betsey Johnson walking down Cumberland, and it was close to the best moment of my life. Shes all edgy and punk rock, but is the cutest thing in the world, pretty much like how this watch makes for a punky accessory but when you look close it has all these girl details like the gold and the little curlique numbers. -Ms.-

FASHION

Crooks and Castles Crook Link Snow Beanie – Don’t get me wrong im 100% looking forward to summer…im already picking out bathing suits, but beanies are soooo cute! Normally I’d be looking for cozy hats in the fall but you could def rock this come spring time. Its too bad we hardly see girls (or actually guys for that matter) brave the world of the pom pom but oh well more left for meee! -Ms.-
